Our Team

Donny Gilman was born and raised in Northern Nevada. His entire career has been working in lockstep with his very successful father, Lance Gilman, starting with everything from preparing and sending out mailers, putting up For Sale signs, and travelling to conventions throughout the United States and Canada selling the vision for the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center (TRI). Commercial real estate has been the family focus for well over 35 years.

Today Donny is the Manager of Lance Gilman Commercial Real Estate, taking over the reins of the firm in 2019 and carrying on the traditional of excellence and success. Being trained by the best in the industry, Donny is a “closer,” he gets it done with professionalism and tenacity.  He has a wide range of clients that include global data center developers to small family investment property owners. With his strong connection and history in the Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center, he has seen great success in this world-renown industrial park that leads the region in growth and productivity.

Donny, his wife of 23 years and three children enjoy everything the Reno area has to offer, from hiking trails to fishing and hunting. Always interested to be engaged and contribute to the local community, he serves on the board of Reno Rescue, a nonprofit that takes in abandoned or neglected horses and hosts equine therapy for veterans and others suffering from PTSD.  He most enjoys the collaboration between Reno Rescue and the local Boys & Girls Clubs that do so much for the kids in the area. Because of his love of northern Nevada and interest to be a part of continual growth, he ran for County Commission in Storey County in 2024 and won by landslide!

Kris has several roles in this dynamic brokerage firm, including transaction manager, utility and infrastructure specialist, and government affairs advisor.  Kris has been working in these capacities with Lance Gilman Real Estate for 14 years, with most of those years as the Project Manager for Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center.  Maintaining a high level of engagement with this industrial park, he has served as the Chairman of Board of Trustees and President of the TRI General Improvement District (the water and sewer utility in the park).

Kris is a retired Colonel with US Army active duty and Army National Guard service.  He served in Operation DESERT STORM.
